Spinach Artichoke Dip in a Crock Pot: Fast and Easy

So...I'm back to cooking again!!! I've found a great recipe for spinach artichoke dip. The best thing about this recipe is that you can just throw all of the ingredients in the crock pot and let it cook itself!

I found the recipe on Budget Savvy Diva's website via Pinterest. I love spinach artichoke dip and I was super excited to be able to make it at home!!

My Dip!

The recipe ingredients and directions with pictures are below. Enjoy!!

Ingredients
  • 9 oz frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • 1 (14 oz) can quartered artichoke hearts, drained
  • 8 oz cream cheese – low fat works great
  • 3/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (I added some extra cheese)
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 Tablespoon of dried onion flakes
  • 1/4 cup milk (I don't drink regular milk so I used what I had)
  • pinch of pepper and salt

Instructions
dip chillin' in my crock pot
  1. Use can you a crock pot liner if you would like – but I did not and I had no problem cleaning my crock pot
  2. Place all the ingredients into the crock pot and place lid on the crock pot and set to high
  3. After one hour mix the ingredients together
  4. Cook for 1 more hour – you can top with a little more Parmesan
  5. Enjoy!

Over all I loved the dip! It was a little watery but I made some adjustments to the recipe so whatever, it was still good. It was also cheap to make. Definitely cheaper than buying it in a restaurant. I would definitely make it again.
And the final product!!
